Man Accused Of Raping Handicapped Teen

(Milan, Ind.) - A rape allegation has a Milan man facing up to 20-years in prison.

 

The Versailles Republican reports Ronald Rose, Jr. faces a charge of Rape, a Class B felony.

 

Prosecutors alleged incident happened Feb. 6 in an apartment when Rose allegedly forced himself on a mentally handicapped underage girl. Rose was out of jail on bond for a domestic violence charge in Ripley County at the time.

 

The case will go to a jury trial in Ripley Circuit Court in November unless a plea is reached.

 

Rose is currently out of jail for the rape charge on a $15,000 bond
