(Brookville, Ind.) - Franklin County deputies have made two arrests in connection with a home burglary last week.
A home on Holland Road in Brookville Township was discovered to have been broken into the afternoon of Monday, February 4. Through the investigation of the burglary it was discovered that the suspects were in the Norwood, Ohio area.
With the help of Norwood Police, Franklin County investigators found the suspects’ van, with three occupants being taken into custody.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with an Indiana State Police Crime Scene Technician went to Norwood to process the van and interview the three suspects. Some of the stolen items from Franklin County were recovered from inside the vehicle and the suspects’ home. The evidence was sent to the Indiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
Two people arrested were Lydia Ramirez, 31, and Marvin Ramirez, 23, both of Cincinnati. They are each charged in Indiana with Burglary (Class B felony).
Both of the Ramirez’s are currently incarcerated in the Hamilton County Justice Center and are awaiting extradition to Franklin County.
The name of the third person taken into custody was not released, but investigators said that person is still being investigated.
