(Hidden Valley, Ind.) – A West Harrison man is accused of trying to break into a home while telling the homeowner he was going to kill him.

Last Friday, Lindsey Skeens, 50, allegedly attempted to break into a home on the 1200 block of Moteray Circle in Hidden Valley on Friday, February 1. He was confronted by the homeowner who scared him off.

Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies spotted Skeens’ vehicle, a silver Toyota Highlander, driving away from the scene on Stateline Road. They arrested Skeens after he admitted to being at the victim’s home.

Investigators say Skeen was involved in a battery with the victim’s girlfriend the day before.

Skeens is charged with Attempted Residential Entry and Intimidation.
