image(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Motorists who waited until Tuesday to top off their fuel tanks may be kicking themselves.

Gas prices shot up across the tri-state. Many stations in Lawrenceburg, Aurora, Harrison, and Florence were selling for $3.59 a gallon for regular unleaded.

Folks may still be able to catch some stations selling for $3.34 to $3.39.

According to price tracking website GasBuddy.com, the Greater Cincinnati area’s average price for gas is $3.39, up about 14 cents from just a week ago.
