(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A blast of winter weather will blow through the tri-state area Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. across the region.
One to three inches of snow are expected. There is a possibility of sleet and freezing rain, increasing the risk of slick roads for the morning commute.
The snow is expected to taper off by mid-afternoon.
Friday’s forecasted high temperature is 30 degrees, followed by an overnight low of 17. Highs are expected in the low to mid 30s both Saturday and Sunday with no chance of precipitation.
