(Versailles, Ind.) - It’s been a rough week at South Ripley High School in Versailles as students deal with the loss of a classmate.

Sophomore student Matthew Willman died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 20 after being taken from his home to Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison.

An autopsy was performed on Monday, but no official cause of death has been released.

The 17-year-old Willman’s services have been scheduled for Friday at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral at 1:00 p.m.
