(Whitewater Township, Oh.) - It happened again Wednesday. A semi truck overturned on the ramp from northbound Interstate 275 to westbound Interstate 74 in Whitewater Township.
The accident happened at about 10:45 a.m. when a truck carrying plastic bottle caps overturned on the looping right-hand turn.
The driver, who has not been identified, suffered some minor injuries.
The ramp reopened at about 2:20 p.m. Ohio Department of Transportation officials said towing crews on the scene were using large air bags to try and place the truck back upright, a process that can take two to four hours. The reopening takes longer if the semi has to be unloaded first.
Semi trucks fall victim by not heeding the 25 MPH warning sign at the large, 270 degree right turn.
