Vandals spraypainted the roof of a building at the Bright Veterinary Clinic sometime recently. Kyle Luebbe-Eagle 99.3 |
Obscene pictures and curse words were written on the roof of an office building and the doors of a storage shed located behind the Bright Veterinary Clinic. The building and shed are owned by the clinic's Dr. Steven Hubbard.
Last Monday morning clinic workers stumbled upon the spray painted shed doors while giving some animals their morning walk. It wasn't until days later that another employee, also walking a dog, noticed that somebody had climbed atop the adjacent office building and sprayed obscenities on the roof as well.
Sheri Minges, an employee at the clinic, explained that their recent finding on these buildings isn't the first example of vandals spray painting things in the area.
"From here over to where I live in Logan, all the stop signs, it was all about the same time, stop signs were written all over and spray painted on. I think it happened probably all in one weekend," said Minges.
All of the graffiti, road signs and the clinic alike were sprayed with the same color paint.
Deputy Ken McAllister, the investigating officer, would like anybody with any information to call the Dearborn County Sheriff's department at (812) 537-3431.
