(West Harrison, Ind.) - Dearborn County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into a smash-and-grab burglary at a West Harrison mom-and-pop business.

R.E. Kaiser Hardware, 201 North State Street, was struck by a burglar who smashed through one of the store’s front display windows Friday evening. Police responded to the scene about 9:30 p.m. and discovered that the thief took a change jar and then fled.
