(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Community Schools are on an internal lockdown Friday.

District officials say there was a suspicious note found near the school. Student safety is not being threatened and the lockdown is being taken only as a precaution, according to the district's central office.

The lockdown is in place at all four buildings in the school corporation.
