(Grant County, Ky.) - A Boone County man died Wednesday night after a crash on Interstate 75 in Grant County, Kentucky State Police said.

The 56-year-old’s name was not released. He was killed when his motorcycle ran off the interstate and struck an embankment about 6:45 p.m. about 13 miles north of Georgetown.

The biker was wearing a helmet, but he later died at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Grant County.

The deadly accident remains under investigation by KSP.
