(Vevay, Ind.) – Star outfielder Jay Bruce and other Cincinnati Reds players and front office personnel will appear in Vevay later this month.

The Reds announced the schedule for their 2013 Reds Winter Caravan. The annual caravan brings the major league team’s stars to the fans with dozens of stops in four states covering more than 2,800 miles.

Vevay has been a regular stop for the caravan’s western leg in past years and will be on the itinerary again in 2013.  The caravan stops at the Hoosier Theatre in Vevay on Thursday, January 24 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Appearing at the free event will be outfielder Jay Bruce, veteran catcher Corky Miller, minor leaguer Ryan LaMarre, COO Phil Castellini, baseball operations president Walt Jocketty, and broadcaster Thom Brennaman.

The event will feature a welcome and introduction by Switzerland County Community Schools Superintendent Mike Jones, followed by a Q&A session and autographs. There could be a ticket raffle and a display by the Reds Hall of Fame.
