(Aurora, Ind.) - A home burglary in Aurora has landed two men in trouble with the law.
On June 8th, Aurora Police came to investigate when a man reported various electronics including an Xbox, 12 games, four controllers and a Rock Band game system missing from his Fourth Street home.
According to a court affidavit, a tip from a neighbor helped police identify Donald Gilb II, of Aurora, and Timothy Roehm, of Florence, as suspects. The two are cousins.
When questioned by police, Gilb, 19, allegedly stated that the two drove the stolen items to Ohio where Roehm, 22, traded all the stolen items but the Rock Band game for heroin. The pair later dumped the Rock Band game into a wooded area off East Laughery Creek Road when they were unable to sell it.
Gilb is in jail at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center on charges of Theft, Burglary, and Conspiracy. Roehm remains at-large.
