(Burlington, Ky.) - A 32-year-old Burlington man is accused of molesting a girl less than half his age.

Richard Fornash, Jr. was arrested Wednesday after Boone County deputies served a warrant at his home on the 3600 block of Avalon Drive.

The alleged abuse against the 15-year-old began last July and ended in December, investigators said. Fornash also allegedly showed the girl pornographic videos, websites, and provided her alcoholic beverages.

Fornash faces a number of charges: Rape 3^rd degree (five counts), Sodomy 3^rd degree (6 counts), Sexual abuse 3^rd degree (6 counts), Unlawful transaction with a minor 3^rd degree (1 count), and Distribution of obscene matter to a minor 1^st degree (2 counts). Additional charges are likely, the sheriff’s office indicated.
