(Cincinnati, Oh.) – A murder suspect could be brought from Hamilton County, Ohio to Ripley County, Indiana as soon as this week after waiving extradition.
Allison Moore, 22, of Colerain Township, opted not to fight the extradition during a Wednesday morning court appearance.
Moore had a hearing to waive her extradition on Tuesday, but it was delayed because she couldn’t read documents she was required to sign. Jail authorities took Moore’s glasses from her because she had been placed on suicide watch.
Moore, along with two teenage boys from Colerain, are accused in the murder of Nancy Hershman. Moore allegedly told investigators that she pulled the trigger to fire the lone gunshot that killed the 68-year-old woman in her Milan home during a December 30 break-in.
It is unknown when the two teens could be extradited to Indiana as their cases are currently being handled in juvenile court. Ripley County Prosecutor Ric Hertel said Monday he plans to have the boys, ages 15 and 16, bound over to adult court.
