(Union, Ky.) - Ryle High School students are remembering a classmate who died this week.

James Hamilton was seriously injured in a car crash on U.S. 42 in Verona on December 8. He died of his injuries at University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center on Wednesday.

Hamilton was a member of the Ryle FFA, vice president of the Skills Club and a member of the Warsaw United Methodist Church.

A memorial ceremony for the 17-year-old junior student will be held at Ryle High at 3:00 p.m. Friday.

Hamilton’s visitation is Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. His funeral will take place at Warsaw United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
