(Covington, Ky.) - The Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport will update the public on its plans for the future Thursday.
The airport will hold a public meeting from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington.
CVG leaders are putting together a new master plan study which will serve as the airport’s road map through 2035. There will be updates on passenger and cargo forecasts, preliminary facility condition assessments, sustainability initiatives, landside alternatives, an airport layout plan and a financial feasibility plan as CVG focuses on changes in the airport’s passenger mix from predominately connecting traffic to local origination/destination traffic.
The session will be an “open-house” format with information stations staffed by knowledgeable members of the CVG staff and the consultant team who will be available to talk with the public and answer questions.
