(Whitewater Township, Oh.) - Two wanted juveniles were caught after fleeing a police traffic stop in Whitewater Township Saturday afternoon.
A Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy tried to stop the two juveniles on Lawrenceburg Road because they were suspected in a theft from a United Dairy Farmers convenience store in Harrison, WLWT-TV reported. Also, the car they were driving had been stolen from West Harrison.
As they sped away from the deputy, the two youths wrecked the car and fled on foot. They were each arrested about an hour after the chase began thanks to help from a police K-9 unit.
The two suspects, who are not being identified by police because of the ages, are now held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
There are reports that the suspects may have been armed.
