(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg City Council meets Thursday to discuss ways to help out the residents of the Tate Street Trailer Park.
The residents were served notice about a month ago that the privately-owned park was being sold to the city for $890,000. They were initially told to move out in 30 days, but the deadline has been extended to mid-January.
City council has discussed paying to have the trailers moved, or buying the trailers that cannot be relocated. A proposal to help each of the 37 residents on a case-by-case basis has been discussed.
More discussions take place at 4:30 p.m. at Lawrenceburg City Hall, 320 Walnut Street.
