(Ohio County, Ind.) - Pneumonia vaccine shots are being offered to Ohio County residents, free of charge.
The Ohio County Health Department says the free shots are possible thanks to a grant from the Ohio County Community Foundation.
The department says the vaccines are only necessary twice a lifetime for adults. People over age 65 need only one shot.
People with chronic illness such as heart disease, respiratory problems, or diabetes are recommended for the vaccine.
