(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 25 years helping local businesses connect.
In 1987, chambers of commerce from Lawrenceburg, Greendale, and Aurora merged to form the county-wide organization.
To mark its silver anniversary, the Dearborn County Chamber hosts an annual awards gala and dinner Thursday evening at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.
Various awards will be handed out: The Chairman’s Award, Business of the Year Award, and Young Professional Award.
Also being presented is a special Founder’s Award, which recognizes a person who greatly contributed to the formation of the county-wide business organization, said Chamber President Mike Rozow.
The 25th Anniversary Awards Gala and Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. Reservations must be made by contacting the Chamber of Commerce office. Cost is $50 per person.
