UPDATE: Aurora Home Destroyed By Morning Fire

A home was not just destroyed, but leveled during a Wednesday morning fire in Aurora.

 

Firefighters were paged out at 3:34 a.m. to the home of John Wright at 12488 Langley Heights. The building was fully involved in flames as fire trucks pulled up to the scene, said Kevin Turner with the Aurora Fire Department.

 

Nobody was hurt in the blaze, but the home and its contents were complete losses. A damage estimate was not available.

 

Turner said a cause has not yet been determined.

 

Several agencies assisted at the scene: fire departments from Lawrenceburg, Hogan Township, Dillsboro, Rising Sun, as well as fire chiefs from Greendale and Bright. Aurora Utilities and Aurora EMS also assisted.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Firefighters from around Dearborn County were called to a large house fire this morning in Aurora.

 

The blaze was reported at about 3:30 a.m. at 12488 Langley Heights Road. Dispatchers advised that no injuries have been reported.

 

Firefighters remained on scene as of 6:30.

 

A cause of the fire and how much damage was done have not yet been released. The blaze is under investigation by the Aurora Fire Department.
