Boone County Sheriff's Office

(Florence, Ky.) – Police in Florence are looking for a thief who took tools from a pickup truck in a box store parking lot.

The theft was reported on November 7th at about 12:20 p.m. outside the Sam’s Club on Houston Road. A Burlington man came out of the store to discover that an assortment of tolls had been stolen from the bed of his pickup truck while he was inside the store.

Surveillance video shows a man driving a two-tone, maroon and grey, Chevrolet Astro van pull up next to the truck. The suspect gets out and removes the tools from a toolbox, then leaves.

Investigators say the van was equipped with aftermarket wheels on the right side and an aftermarket roof rack.
