Justin Harvill Campbell County Jail

(Burlington, Ky.) - A Boone County day care worker is accused of having sexual contact with a child.

Newport Police arrested Justin Harvill, 23, November 15 for events that allegedly took place at a private residence, WCPO-TV reports. He is charged with First Degree Sexual Abuse of a Victim Under 12 Years of Age and First Degree Sodomy of a Victim Under 12 Years of Age.

Harvill, of Newport, worked at Boone County Head Start beginning in 2008 up until the time of his arrest.

The Head Start director says they are conducting their own internal investigation, and are confident no Head Start students were involved.

Harville remains held at the Campbell County Jail as of Wednesday.
