A man and his niece were hospitalized as a result of a head-on accident between two ATVs on Sunday afternoon, according to Indiana Conservation Officers.

The accident was reported at about 3:54 p.m. on Lauman Road near Moores Hill, said ICO Cpl. Chris Powell. Michael Langdon, 40, and his niece, Emily Langdon, 11, were each driving an ATV on a ridge line in opposite directions when they collided.

Both Langdons were taken to the hospitals in Cincinnati by aircare. Their current conditions are unknown.

Powell said the crash remains under investigation.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - An ATV accident sent a man and a young girl to the hospital on Sunday.

The accident happened in the afternoon on property on Lauman Road between Moores Hill and Dillsboro.

The man, a 40-year-old, was flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati. The 11-year-old girl was taken to Children’s Hospital.

The victims’ names and conditions have not been released.
