(Florence, Ky.) – A couple hundred new jobs are coming to Florence thanks to a beauty products maker.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear will appear at a groundbreaking and economic development announcement at L’Oreal USA at 7080 New Buffington Road Thursday morning at 9:45. The $42 million expansion for L’Oreal will create 200 new jobs.
The Florence facility is one of six for L’Oreal in the U.S. and already employs 300 people. The company produces and bottles hair care products there.
Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore, who is the chairman of economic development group Northern Kentucky Tri-Ed, will join the governor at the groundbreaking. Plant manager Eric Wolff will also speak.
