(Aurora, Ind.) – Lawn gnomes and other yard decorations in and around Aurora are not wandering off on their own.

Aurora Police Chief Bryan Fields says somebody is likely stealing various yard ornaments and hanging baskets from homes.

Over the past month, officers have taken several reports of theft from homeowners who noticed something missing in their yards.  Most have occurred overnight.
