(Dillsboro, Ind.) – A 23-year-old Dillsboro man died in a crash on U.S. 50 early Saturday morning.

Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to U.S. 50 at the Dearborn-Ripley county line at about 3:30 a.m.  The driver of a vehicle, Andrew Gress, of Dillsboro, was apparently driving East on the highway when his vehicle went into a grassy median and struck a concrete divider.

Gress was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deadly accident remains under investigation.
