A water boiling advisory for some Dillsboro residents has been lifted Thursday.

The advisory had been in effect for customers along State Road 62 since last week.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – Many Dillsboro residents are being put on notice that a water boil advisory has been issued.

Dillsboro Utilities issued the advisory Friday afternoon. It affects customers along State Road 62 in Dillsboro including East Adams Street, West Adams Street, Jewett Drive, and Sangamaw Road.

The water boil advisory will remain in effect until further notice, said Dillsboro Town Manager Scott Fortner.
