(Greendale, Ind.) – Greendale firefighters did not have to go far to respond to a house fire Friday morning.

The fire was reported at 48 Decker Avenue just after 11:00. The Greendale Fire Department is located just around the corner from the address on Ridge Avenue.

Firefighters were said to have the blaze under control quickly.

There is no word on a cause or if anybody was injured. Fire crews remained on the scene as of noon.
