(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - One more day. That is all that Americans will have to deal with political television and radio ads crowding the airwaves and yard signs dotting the landscape.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 6.
Monday also marks one more day for Indiana and Ohio residents to vote early. Most southeast Indiana counties will close their absentee in-person voting at 12:00 p.m., noon. In Hamilton County, early voting will continue at the Board of Elections office in Cincinnati until 2:00 p.m. Kentucky does not allow for early voting or unexcused absentee voting.
On Election Day, Indiana and Kentucky’s polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Ohio’s voting hours at 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. local time.
Whether voting early or on Election Day, Indiana law requires voters to show a government-issued photo identification at their polling place before casing a ballot. Voters wanting to know of their polling precinct location, sample ballot, or registration status can find it online at www.IndianaVoters.com.
Eagle 99.3 will have live election results on the air from across southeast Indiana starting at 7:00 Tuesday night. Results will also be posted online on Eagle 99.3’s Indiana Votes 2012 webpage.
