(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Andrew Conley strangled his kid brother to death in the Hartford Pike Road home in Ohio County in 2009.
Nearly three years later, the story is still making national headlines.
Conley, now 20, will be the subject of an episode of “When Teens Kill.” The show airs at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30 on the E! Network.
The show will feature an interview with the convicted killer.
The night of his arrest on November 29, 2009, Andrew, then 17, told investigators he and his 10-year-old brother Conner were wrestling in their living room when he strangled the boy to death with his hands. The boys’ mother and father were both at work.
Andrew placed a bag over Conner’s head. The teen then dumped his little brother’s body in a wooded area near the Rising Sun City Park. He later went to the Rising Sun Police Department to tell officers what he had done.
Conley equated his urge to kill to a hungry person eating a hamburger. He also stated that he felt like the serial killer portrayed in the Showtime television series “Dexter.”
Conley pleaded guilty to murdering 10-year-old Conner Conley in 2010. Ohio Circuit Court Judge James Humphrey then sentenced Conley to life in prison without parole.
The Indiana Supreme Court ruled in August to uphold Humphrey’s decision to give Conley a life sentence. He continues to serve his punishment at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana.
