Luke Messer, Republican candidate for Indiana 6th District U.S. Congressman.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Political candidates for state and federal office descend upon southeast Indiana Tuesday.

Democrat candidate for Indiana Governor John Gregg will have a campaign stop at the Sherman House Restaurant, 35 South Main Street, in Batesville at 9:45 a.m.

Gregg faces Republican Mike Pence and Libertarian Rupert Boneham in the upcoming election.

Tuesday evening, Republican 6th District Congressman candidate Luke Messer will meet with voters for dinner at Whisky’s Restaurant in Lawrenceburg. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.
