(Undated) - When Dearborn County's Jetset Getset performs at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Cincinnati on November 7, they will be helping to raise money for musicians who are down on their luck. The teenage country music group recently completed their first professionally produced album, "Saturday Night," in Nashville. Proceeds from CD sales at the show will benefit Play It Forward, a nonprofit organization that supports musicians during times of crisis.
“Almost everybody knows someone who has experienced an emergency and needed financial help,” said Kelli Jette, manager of Jetset Getset. “We believe in helping others, especially fellow musicians. Play It Forward does a lot of good, and we’re glad to support them with our music.”
Play It Forward is a nonprofit organization that supports musicians in times of crisis. The organization promotes several fund raising concerts throughout the year. Jetset Getset is the youngest group ever to perform a benefit for Play It Forward.
"Play It Forward is by its very nature an organization that is focused on the successful future of the Cincinnati music scene,” said John Sheil, executive director. “Jetset Getset are talented, hard-working young musicians who embody that vision. We are pleased to be working with them for this special event. It's truly a pleasure to watch this band's progress and we look forward to seeing them wowing audiences for many years to come."
JSGS is fronted by 15-year-old singersTori Little, Avery Eliason and Sadie Loveland. Known for their three-part harmonies, the trio is backed by guitarist Jason Owens, 16; guitarist Justen Jette, 14; bass player Paul Kelley, 15; and drummer Aaron Smith, 16. Sitting in with Jetset Getset at their upcoming concert will be fiddle player Nick Netherton, who is known for his work with two popular groups in Cincinnati, the Danny Frazier Band and the Dan Varner Band.
Jetset Getset, which has performed primarily at fairs and festivals throughout the South and the Midwest since 2011, was discovered early in 2012 by veteran record producer Jack Gale, who saw them performing on “The Shotgun Red Variety Show” on Nashville’s RFD-TV. Gale signed Jetset Getset to a recording contract with his company, Playback Records, to produce “Saturday Night.”
Jetset Getset will perform at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7 at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, 145 2nd Street East, Cincinnati, OH 45202. All ages admitted for the show. No cover charge. Proceeds from CD sales at the event will benefit Play It Forward. For information, call 513-721-8629. Information about Jetset Getset is available at www.JetsetGetset.com.
