(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Local gas prices have been on a steady decline over the past couple weeks.
Tracking website CincyGasPrices.com says the average for a gallon of regular unleaded in the tri-state today is $3.43. That’s down from $3.72 just 10 days ago.
Friday’s average price marks the lowest that gas prices in our area have been since late July. One year ago the average price was $3.32, according to the website.
Some of the lowest prices being posted in the Eagle 99.3 listening area are $3.49 in Harrison and Cleves. Motorists will find it a little more expensive in the Hebron and Florence areas where stations are selling for around $3.52.
Prices in southeast Indiana vary widely, from $3.69 in Lawrenceburg to $3.59 in St. Leon.
