Tyler Woolpert Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A man who allegedly injured a 23-month-old child was booked into the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center early Wednesday morning.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department daily arrest report shows Tyler Woolpert, 21, of Lawrenceburg, entered the jail at 12:32 a.m. on charges of Neglect of a Dependant Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Battery on a Child Under 14.

Aurora Police obtained an arrest warrant for Woolpert last week following allegations that he struck a toddler that was in his care. Investigators asked the public for information on his whereabouts on October 11.

It is unclear if Woolpert was caught or if he turned himself in at the jail. He could make his initial appearance in court as soon as Wednesday.
