(Boone County, Ky.) – An accident involving a delivery van is causing problems on the Interstate 275 bridge connecting Indiana and Kentucky.

The accident occurred at about 8:50 a.m. when a Fed Ex delivery van somehow ended up straddling the concrete barrier separating the northbound and southbound lanes of the Carroll C. Cropper Bridge. The accident also appeared to involve a pickup truck hauling a trailer, which struck the van as it hung over the barrier.

It is unclear if there were any injuries.

Traffic in both directions of I-275 were closed immediately following the accident. However, one lane in each direction opened at about 9:15.
