(Batesville, Ind.) – A man and woman from Batesville are accused of stealing a car.
Batesville Chief of Police Stan Holt says Quincy Collier, 18, and Miranda Foley, 22, took a vehicle from a residence on West Pearl Street on August 16. The car was found abandoned along a road in Cincinnati five days later.
Following a thorough investigation, Batesville Police submitted the case to Ripley County Prosecutor Ric Hertel. The prosecutor charged Collier with Auto Theft (Class D felony) and Foley with Conspiracy to Commit Theft (Class D felony).
Collier and Foley were each arrested on Wednesday. They are held in the Ripley County Jail in Versailles.
