(Burlington, Ky.) – There has been no vast change in the vote totals as a recount continues in Boone County.

Cathy Flaig requested and was granted the recount after losing the May 18 Republican primary for Boone County Judge-Executive by just 74 votes to incumbent Gary Moore.

The Kentucky Enquirer reports that with 45 of 60 precincts recounted by hand Tuesday, there has only been a change of one vote in favor of Flaig. There are a total of over 12,146 ballots to count.

The Boone County Clerk’s Office has a recount team made up of two interns and a part time employee from Boone Circuit Court.

Counting ballot-by-ballot will resume Wednesday with counters getting a break Thursday and then back at it on Friday.

Flaig has put up a bond of $6,000 to pay for the recount costs.
