(Aurora, Ind.) – A local school was burglarized over the weekend, and police are trying to figure out who is responsible.
Aurora Police were called to St. John’s Lutheran School, 222 Mechanic Street, on Monday morning. Workers at the school had arrived to find a safe had been broken into and some desk drawers in an office were rummaged through. Cash was taken.
Officers discovered that an exterior door to the school had been forced open.
Investigators believe the burglary occurred in the overnight hours of Sunday night into Monday morning.
