(Aurora, Ind.) - The Aurora Farmers Fair is known as much for reunions as it is for carnival rides, live music, and funnel cakes.
Aurora natives from near and far return to their hometown for the festival each year.
The South Dearborn High School Class of 1987 will welcome its members this weekend with a 25th anniversary reunion. The meet-up starts at Friday’s high school football game with South Dearborn visiting rival Lawrenceburg. Following the game, the class will head to the H-Bar at Hollywood Casino.
The Aurora High School Class of 1972 will mark their 40th year reunion with dinner at Applewood Restaurant at 6:30 p.m.
Each of the classes will have a float in Saturday’s big Farmers Fair parade. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m.
The 104th Aurora Farmers Fair runs through Saturday, October 6. Find more information on the fair at www.aurorafarmersfair.org.
