Franklin County's 911 system is back in operation as of 9:00 a.m., dispatchers said. Residents can again use 911 to report an emergency.

(Brookville, Ind.) - Franklin County Dispatch says the county's 911 service is experiencing an outage Monday morning.

Residents should call (765) 647-4138 if there is an emergency.

It is unclear when the outage may be restored.
