(Greensburg, Ind.) - A Greensburg teen is accused of making up a story about being abducted by two men earlier this week.

Greensburg Police say Tina Anne Dixon, 18, has been charged with False Reporting (Class A misdemeanor) on Thursday.

Dixon called 911 Monday night to report  that she was a victim of an abduction by two men in a truck near the Greensburg Wal-Mart store.  She claimed she was groped by the men, then dropped off on State Road 3 about six miles north of town.

Dixon also reported she was let out of the vehicle on State Road 3, approximately six miles north of Greensburg.

Investigators determined Dixon falsified her statement and that the abduction did not occur. They became suspicious of the claim after reviewing surveillance footage from Wal-Mart.

Greensburg Police are continuing to investigate a previous report of an abduction of a 13-year-old girl on September 17.
