According to The Greensburg Daily News, this police sketch from the Shelbyville Police Department was created from the account of a witness to an allegedly intended abduction of a nine-year-old girl at a bus stop in Shelby County in early August. Greensburg investigators are not yet certain as to whether or not any of the abduction cases are connected, the newspaper reported. The Greensburg Daily News |
(Greensburg, Ind.) - A second teenager from Greensburg has reportedly been abducted and sexually assaulted.
Greensburg Police say the 18-year-old girl was forced into the back of a black pickup truck at about 10:00 Monday night by two white men. The girl told officers she was dropped off at County Road 700 North and State Road 3 in Decatur County after the attack.
Last week, a 13-year-old girl reported a similar attack while she was walking to school.
Both victims gave police similar descriptions of the assailants: two men, approximately in their 50s. One man was tall and bald with a mustache. The other man had brownish, graying hair with “a big stomach.”
Police say the truck may be a two-door, black Dodge.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Greensburg Police Department at (812) 663-3131.
