(Carroll County, Ky.) - U.S. 42 in Carroll County will be closed for 12 hours starting at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says the closure will last until approximately 7:00 a.m. Thursday. A detour will be posted.

The closure will be near the Ghent Generating Station as crews install a new drainage pipe beneath the highway.
