(Richwood, Ky.) – Boone County Sheriff’s detectives are searching for a purse thief.
A Union woman had her purse taken from her car as she dropped off her children at The Little Red School House daycare on Paddock Road in Richwood the morning of Wednesday, September 19.
Police caught an unidentified man making purchases with credit cards that were in the stolen purse on surveillance video.
The debit card was initially used at the BP station on Turfway Road in Florence, Kentucky at 7:09 a.m. It was then used three additional times at the ATM inside the Marathon station on Royal Drive in Crescent Springs, Kentucky by a white male appearing to be in his forties with dark hair wearing a red tee shirt with a white Nike swoosh, black denim pants, and white gym shoes.
The suspect was driving a silver colored Volvo station wagon with a sunroof.
