Aurora Casket Is Area's 42nd Largest Private Co.

(Undated) – Multiple companies from the Eagle 99.3 listening area make the list of the tri-state’s 100 largest privately-owned companies.

 

The Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 ranks Aurora Casket Company 42nd in the region based on 2011 revenues. The casket manufacturer reported revenue of $200.2 million last year. Founded in 1890, the company was one of the oldest to make the list.

 

Remke Markets, which operates grocery stores throughout the region including four former bigg’s locations, ranked 45th on the list. The company did not disclose its revenue in the report.

 

Harrison-based JTM Food Group is the 77th largest private firm in the area with $102 million in revenue in 2011.

 

Bob Sumerel Tire Company was 86th. The tire sales and service company has corporate offices in Erlanger.

 

The top three companies on the 2012 Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 were AdvancePierre Foods, Staffmark, and Total Quality Logistics.  The
