(Hidden Valley, Ind.) - A Greendale man is accused of breaking into a car, then falling asleep inside it.
Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies were called to the parking lot at Willie’s Sports Bar in Hidden Valley on Tuesday, September 11. That’s where the a man found Andrew Love, 21, passed out in the passenger seat of his BMW Z2 Roadster.
Love had broken the car’s console, according to a court affidavit. Once he awoke, he told police he thought he was in a friend’s car.
Love was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Entry of a Motor Vehicle (Class B misdemeanor), Criminal Mischief (Class A misdemeanor), and Public Intoxication (Class B misdemeanor).
He has since bonded out of jail at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for October 23 in Dearborn Superior Court II.
