(Southeast Indiana) - The Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 1st Annual Leaders in Entrepreneurship Awards Day Southern Indiana, or LEADS Indiana. LEADS has been established by the ISBDC to recognize those individuals that are the lifeblood of our local economy: entrepreneurs and small business owners. Do you know someone who has dedicated their time and effort to providing their neighbors and community with valuable products and services; someone you feel should be recognized for their contributions? Then nominate them so that they can receive the recognition that they deserve. All nominees will be given a valuable opportunity to network with local business leaders at the event, and gain valuable connections in the local business arena. 

Nominations are open for seven awards categories: Small Business Person of the Year, Small Business Exporter of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, FranNet Franchisee of the Year, Family-Owned Business of the Year, Entrepreneurial Success Award, Financial Services Champion of the Year, Home-Based Business Champion of the Year, Minority Small Business Champion of the Year, Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year, and Women in Business Champion of the Year. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to nominate those they feel best exemplify success and leadership in the small business sector. LEADS Indiana is celebrating its inaugural event at Kye’s in Jeffersonville, IN on November 14th. Winners of the LEADS Indiana awards will be announced at the Awards Luncheon, featuring keynote speaker Mark S. Deuser, of Techshot, Inc. Mr. Deuser will relate his personal business story and offer valuable insights into his own successes as an entrepreneur. Nominations are accepted online.
