(Bath, Ind.) – An investigation that began last year has ended with the dismantling of a meth operation in Franklin County.
The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section executed a search warrant at 15155 New Harmony Road in Bath on Monday evening. Troopers found various items including precursors commonly associated with the manufacture of Methamphetamine.
Trooper Nate Raney led the investigation which began late last year. It started with an arrest in Union County.
“Information obtained during the Union County investigation led Tpr. Raney to believe methamphetamine was being manufactured at the residence on New Harmony Road. After several months of investigation, Tpr. Raney obtained enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence,” said Sgt. Noel Houze with the ISP Versailles Post.
Arrested at the Harmony Ridge Road home was Kevin Thomas, 47, of Bath. He has been charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (all Class D Felonies).
